Preview – Discovery 308 – “The Sanctuary” – Synopsis, Photos & More…

Following last weeks powerful episode which was the follow up to a 30-year-old Star Trek story that began back in 1991 with the two-part episode “Unification” this week the crew finds itself heading to Books home planet to rescue it from the Emerald Chain.

Wanting to free his people from the oppression of Osyraa, the formidable leader of the Emerald Chain, Michal Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Cleveland Booker (David Ajala) along with the crew of the Discovery travel to his homeworld.

While Burnham and Book are on the planet, back on Discovery, Dr Culber (Wilson Cruz) investigates Georgiou’s (Michelle Yeoh) growing issues surrounding her mysterious blacking out and her visions

Meanwhile, Below decks, while the newly minted No1 Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Stamets (Anthony Rapp) and Adira (Blu del Barrio) keep researching The Burn and make a discovery that might just pinpoint its origin.

Synopsis:

Burnham and the U.S.S. Discovery crew travel to Book’s home planet to help rescue it from Osyraa, the formidable leader of the Emerald Chain. Meanwhile, Stamets and Adira continue their search for valuable information on the origin of the Burn.

THE SANCTUARY is written by Kenneth Lin & Brandon Schultz and is Directed by Jonathan Frakes.
